Dear Alison & the Team

I am writing to thank you for your care of my dog Sandy, who recently passed away suddenly and unexpectedly. Every time I had to speak to you, you were caring and sympathetic and made me feel like she was in really safe hands. It was good to get her home. The box was beautiful, and all the extra touches were lovely.

Thank You

Kirsty Chui

Dear all at Pets Eternal Peace

We just wanted to thank you for looking after our dear girl Tuffy. She was
the joy of our life and has left such a big void. She had only been with us
for 15 months but it felt we had known her and loved her forever. We rescued
her when she was already 14 years old. She was an awful case of neglect and
was found covered in maggots, fleas and paralysis ticks in her matted coat.
Against all odds she made a miracle recovery and we decided to adopt her. It
soon became clear that she had a unique personality and was always so
friendly, brave and resilient. Despite what she has been through, she was
always in high spirits and was always up for a walk or a ride in the car...
not to mention her beloved food. She got very sick suddenly and we take some
comfort in knowing that she didn't suffer for very long. She was the most
beautiful and gentle dog you could ever imagine and her death has left us
devastated. She leaves behind her mate Sun who has been looking
for her ever since, so sad.
Thank you for your compassion and the respect you have showed us and Tuffy.
The timber box containing her ashes is beautiful and we have now put a photo
of her and look at it all the time. We hope that she is at peace now.
Attached is a photo of Tuffy performing her favourite activity which was
shaking hands. Rest in peace dear old friend

The family of Tuffy Baillie

I'd like to thank you all for looking after my special girl Phoebe. For you to come all the way up to Bribie Island was really great of you.  Thank you for all the support through our loss and for treating Phoebe with respect and dignity. I feel a lot better now that she is back home even if she is in a different form. She will always be with me. I know I made the right choice entrusting you with her and it was the right thing for Phoebe and me. I highly recommend your service to all I meet.

I was surprised at the quality of your service as we never even got half of what your service offers with my Mother's funeral service. I really feel you did Phoebe proud they way you have looked after her and I could never thank you enough. With your service and support and my family and friends I know it has helped me get through this. I feel at peace. I miss her greatly and always will but I just touch my key ring and know she's with me. I have an anxiety disorder and chronic asthma and Phoebe was my rock. She even use get my asthma puffer for me which I didn't teach her. She was just that kind of friend that we were there for each other 24/7. Some would say we were joined at the hip so to speak. She was there through all the tuff times I had bringing up my 4 teenagers on my own and sort of a substitute partner in many ways.  I have wonderful memories and photos of us storm chasing as she loved storms. She was a very unique friend and I think we were much alike.

Thank you again to all your staff.

Heather Watson :)

Dear Pets Eternal Peace,

It has now been 3 weeks since we had to say goodbye to our best friend of 14 years, Bud. We always knew that the day was going to come, and we always knew that it was going to be one of the worst days of our lives. What we didn't know was that we would experience the feeling of our hearts being ripped from our chests. Bud was sick for quite a few months, and we decided with our vet that we would not ever let her suffer. We woke up Sunday morning and it was clear that our little girl was not happy, she seemed to have taken a very sudden turn for the worse. We nursed her all Sunday and took her to the vet Monday morning. We knew walking in there what was about to happen, we just didn't say it. We had a long talk with the vet and when the hard final decision was made, we said that we wanted Pets Eternal Peace to look after her and that we would call you. The vet gave us all the time we needed to say our final goodbyes, and Bud gently went to sleep with us whispering in her ear. What happened next was something that we had not anticipated. We left the vet and drove the 4 minute trip home, and immediately called you to ask you to take care of Bud for us. To our surprise you already knew her name and you told us that she would be picked up within the next hour. We got another call from you early in the evening to tell us that she was with you, what would be happening over the next couple of days and that she would be brought back to us early on Thursday. The compassion that you showed to us was remarkable, and you offered not only advice and information about what to expect over the next few days and weeks, but you also listened while we told you a few stories about Bud, and laughed, and cried some more. You even thought to ask if we had any other dogs, and when we mentioned Buds 'sister' Maxi, you gave us some good tips on helping her cope with the loss of her lifelong friend too. You also told us that there would be room for Maxi in the same urn when the time came, so that our girls can continue as they had always lived, together.  Bud arrived home on Thursday, and we were so happy that she was back with us. We lit her candle on the fourth day, and we named a star for her, and after that things started to become a little easier to deal with, and the tears became less frequent. Now we talk about the funny things she used to do, and about the 14 special years that she gave us, and it is becoming easier to cope.

The service that you provided to us was simply beyond anything that we expected. We expected a business transaction with some ashes in an urn at the end of it. What we experienced was a sense of understanding and compassion on your behalf, and the feeling that Bud was being looked after exactly as she had lived her life, like a Princess. We say Thank You, but this somehow doesn't seem to convey the depth of our gratitude for the way that you supported us and looked after our little girl. Knowing that she was being treated with dignity and respect made those days that she was away from us so much easier to bare.

Thank you again, so much, for the outstanding service that you provided to us. We are still amazed that complete strangers took such time and interest in our situation, and so thankful that these same people looked after Bud just as we would have wished. We will make sure that we spread the word about Pets Eternal Peace and will recommend you to anyone that we hear of who finds themselves facing that terrible decision and its aftermath, because you made it so much easier for us.

Regards
